Current Offerings

Dear customers:

Please note the following offerings are sold on a first-come-first-serve basis under the wholesale category. If you are a home roaster looking to purchase coffee by the pound please visit our Home Roasters Store. We carry only coffee from the last harvest period to ensure the highest freshness possible. Therefore we encourage all of our customers to let us know their purchase intentions prior or during each harvest period, that way we can give priority when providing samples to those who show first interest.

Coffee is sold in 70 Kilo bags with a minimum purchase of one bag. However, if you wish to purchase less than a bag we are happy to discuss options to accommodate your request.

Our available coffees are stored at our warehouse location in Middle River MD. Please contact us directly to get more information, request some samples, order coffee from current offerings or pre-order some coffee from future harvests.

CASCARA

Finca La Vega - Coffee Farm

This year we are featuring Cascara for the first time, picked and process at Finca La Vega, one of our partners' farms. Cascara is the skin of the coffee cherry, which has been used in the past as fertilizer by most farmers but now is being processed and dried to make different products for human consumption such as teas, syrups, sodas, infused beer, and cocktails etc. Cascara has become kind of an exotic product today thanks to its subtle sweetness and caffeine content, but same as coffee the profile can change depending on the origin.

Farmer: Jairo Antonio Taborda Berrio
Origin: Colombia.
Subregion: Southwestern Antioquia - Amagá Town.
Elevation: 1.800 – 1.900m above sea level.
Variety: 60% Castillo and 40% Catimor
Processing Method: Washed, dried (using an electric dryer to avoid fermentation)
Harvest Season: End of November through the beginning of March.                                                   Profile Notes: Sweet dates, green apple, juicy, fruity, lemony.
